Living in Casa Gemella - What you need to know.
Each of the two houses has an open kitchen and living room, three bed rooms, two tiny bathrooms. The houses are connected with a shared patio (wintergarden), which is at the same time the access to the terrace and the shore.

We want to help you to get an easy access and orientation during your stay at Casa Gemella. Simple things like where to leave the car, how to heat the house or how to take care of the house are summarized in the following sections. So please read carefully to enjoy things easily and relaxed.
Arriving
Parking the car
You can park the car next to the house on the left hand side.Start electricity
The fuse box is next to the door. When you enter the house you can check if all the fuses are activated. Each fuse is labeled accordingly in Italian.Start heating
The house has a floor heating system. Each section is steered by the black touch interfaces next to the doors in the basement, each bathroom and the winter garden. The bed rooms can be heated via the air condition.Where are the keys
The keys are located next to the lounge in the shelf.
Staying
Food, Grocery, and Bar
Bonagia has a couple of little stores (bakery, vegetable store, pharmacy, mussle shop), a bar in the village and the harbour, and an exellent take-away pizzeria (Pizza Planet). The next proper super market is in Trapani or Custonaci. You will find all of them on this local map.ÂKitchen & Marble Surface
Most important: Don't clean the marble surface with anything else than water an a little soap from the sink. Never ever use or expose it to any kind of acid (Lemon, Vinagar, Detergent, etc.). It will ruin the surface.
All cleaning items are located under the sink. In case salt, rins aid or dishwasher detergent finished, please fill it up with the same brand.Bathroom - white boxes.
White Boxes: The bathrooms are quite tiny. In each sleeping room you will find white boxes to store your bathroom items. You can carry these boxes to the bathroom when it is your turn.
Save water: In Sicily water is a scarce good and is not always available. So use it with care. E.g. interrupt the waterflow in the shower while shampooing etc.Washing Machine
The washing machine is located in one of the rooms next to the terrace (tecnico). You will find laundry detergent next to the machine.Air Condition
Each room has an individual air condition steered by the remote control in the room. Please make sure that the remote control stays in the room to not mix them up.Garbage
The garbage gets separated into five different categories. 1. Bio (umido), 2. Plastics (plastica), 3. Paper & Carton (carta/cartone), 4. Glas (vetro), 5. Dry Rest (secco-residuo). These garbage categories get collected by the community on separate days. On these days you have to place the bags in front of the house at the street. Stand up paddle
In the room (tecnico) next to the terrace you will find two stand up paddles. Feel free to use them. Pls deflate them before leaving and store them properly .
Leaving
Empty and clean the fridge.
Wash and dry towels.
Leave the kitchen cupboards open.
Securely close the shutter and windows.
Shut down electricity.
Leave the keys on the bar.
